Do I need a referral
from a GP? >
Chiropractors and osteopaths are
trained primary health care professionals. You do notneed
a referral from a GP.

Can I claim for my treatment fees through my private health cover? >
Yes. All
health funds recognize chiropractic & osteopathy and will reimburse all
or part of the cost involved depending on your specific cover. You can
check with your fund before you start treatment to confirm your level of
cover. You will be able to claim your refund from
your health fund when you present your receipt from your treatment.
Does Medicare cover chiropractic or osteopathy? >
Medicare recognizes registered chiropractors & osteopaths for the
treatment of patients under the Enhanced Primary Care scheme. Patients
who are eligible under the scheme will receive up to five free
treatments per year. A referral from your GP is necessary. If you are
unsure if you are eligible to be included in this scheme, ask your GP.
Do you treat Work Cover injuries?
We are WorkCover
approved. Before we can start treating your work related injury you will
need areferral from
your GP detailing the injury date and site, a letter from your insurance
company stating that your claim has been accepted, and your claim number
and the address of the insurance company. After receiving
of the above information, the clinic can bill your insurance company
directly on your behalf.
